The Clear Creek Land Conservancy was founded to preserve the remaining undeveloped beauty of Clear Creek Canyon as well as conserve the water drainage ecosystem of Clear Creek. Each year CCLC holds a photography contest that allows photographers to submit images of the Clear Creek Drainage Basin. The winning images are then featured in a yearly calendar, however, this year the winning images will instead be reprinted in a large 24 x 36 format and displayed in the Colorado State Capitol Rotunda.
I am pleased to announce two of my photographs were selected for display at the State Capitol. Bridal Veil Falls will be included in the Rotunda collection, while my image of Rocky Mountain goats, titled Peaceful Overlook, will be displayed with other finalists in a nonpublic area of the Capitol.
The Clear Creek Land Conservancy is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2016, for more information about CCLC visit www.clearcreeklandconservancy.org
